Madrid, 9 de abril de 2010 – Infinera (Nasdaq: INFN) ha anunciado hoy que Michael Frendo se ha unido a Infinera como Vicepresidente de Arquitectura para dirigir el desarrollo y aplicación de la dirección de la arquitectura a largo plazo en la empresa.
Anteriormente, Frendo ocupó puestos de responsabilidad en áreas de arquitectura e ingeniería en empresas líderes como Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, McDATA Corporation y Avaya. Frendo desempeñó un papel destacado en la estrategia de productos, dirección, e ingeniería en estas empresas. En Cisco, en la década de los 90, jugó un papel importante en la decisión y ejecución del enfoque estratégico de Cisco en las tecnologías del Protocolo de Internet, incluida la voz y vídeo IP.
